BMV Global apresenta novidades no setor de bioeconomia durante a terceira edição do Rio Innovation Week – MARANHÃO Hoje

A CEO da greentech, Maria Tereza Umbelino, apresentará a plataforma Mumbuca Verde 

O BMV Global, greentech brasileira de modelagem ESG, e pioneiro na criação do mercado de créditos de biodiversidade, estará presente na terceira edição do Rio Innovation Summit que acontece entre os dias 3 e 6 de outubro. Na oportunidade, a CEO da startup, Maria Tereza Umbelino, apresentará novidades no setor de bioeconomia, com a participação em painéis.

No dia XX, a CEO do BMV Global fará parte do painel “O papel do ativo de conservação da natureza para bioeconomia”, onde abordará a importância de novas ferramentas que estimulem a preservação do meio ambiente e que traga benefícios económicos para o país.

No mesmo dia, no Palco E-GOV – Painel Pitch longue e no Palco Clean Up The World, será apresentada a plataforma Mumbuca Verde, uma iniciativa da Prefeitura de Maricá, por meio da Companhia de Desenvolvimento de Maricá (Codemar), em parceria com a Govtech Tesouro Verde, que possibilita investir em Unidades de Crédito de Sustentabilidade (UCS) para contribuir com a preservação ambiental e obter benefícios como retorno. Além dos paines, durante os quatro dias de feira a empresa contará com estande da plataforma que terá um simulador de óculos 3D com asa delta sobrevoando a área de Maricá.

“Esta será a oportunidade para discutirmos novas soluções que contribuam efetivamente para o meio ambiente e que também promovam mudanças positivas no cenário econômico, não apenas a nível nacional, mas em escala global. Neste sentido, a economia verde está começando a ganhar espaço em diversos setores, trazendo benefícios aos produtos s que todos nós utilizamos utilizados por todos nós”, ressalta Maria Tereza.

As UCS são commodities ambientais, também negociadas no mercado regulado (B3) como CPR-Verdes. Elas englobam 27 serviços ecossistêmicos, isto é, os benefícios proporcionados pela floresta preservada, decorrentes da conservação de sua biodiversidade. Dessa forma, as UCS contabilizam elementos como o estoque de carbono e os impactos positivos da preservação da fauna, flora, nascentes e fluxo hidrológico, entre outros.
Mumbuca Verde
Por meio da plataforma Mumbuca Verde empresas e cidadãos poderão obter selos de certificação por investirem em práticas de sustentabilidade. O primeiro lote de UCS vendido contemplou 38 empresas – entre elas a Omni Táxi Aéreo, Líder Táxi Aéreo e diversas construtoras e prestadoras de serviço.

Neste lote, quatro grandes áreas de Mata Atlântica estão sendo preservadas em Maricá. São ricas em biodiversidade e com nascentes de água. As áreas têm 3.489.800 m² e um total de 2.321 espécies de animais e 18.713 espécies vegetais por hectare.

O lançamento da plataforma aconteceu em setembro deste ano, e contou com a participalçao do ator Bruno Gagliasso, parceiro da iniciativa e conhecido por levantar a bandeira da sustentabilidade.
