Banco do Nordeste anuncia aplicação recorde de R$ 6,5 bilhões no Maranhão em 2023 – MARANHÃO Hoje

A principal instituição financeira de desenvolvimento do país anunciou volume histórico de investimentos no Maranhão em 2023. O Banco do Nordeste registrou a marca de R$ 6,5 bilhões em apoio aos empreendimentos maranhenses, de todos os segmentos e portes produtivos. O montante é 21% maior do que foi aplicado em 2022, quando foram contratados R＄ 5,3 bilhões.
O anúncio aconteceu durante Encontro com a Imprensa, realizado nesta terça-feira (06), em São Luís.
Somente com recursos do Fundo Constitucional de Financiamento do Nordeste (FNE), foram investidos na economia maranhense R＄ 4,8 bilhões até dezembro passado, alta de 36% na comparação com os R＄ 3,5 bilhões realizados em 2022. Segundo dados do Escritório Técnico de Estudos Econômicos do Nordeste (Etene), o volume de recursos do FNE aplicados no Maranhão, neste ano, é responsável pela geração ou manutenção de mais de 260 mil empregos e aumento de R＄ 1,1 bilhão em massa salarial no estado.
O superintendente estadual do Maranhão, Isaque Nascimento, explica que a marca recorde de investimentos na economia maranhense aponta para apoio tanto a projetos de grande impacto estrutural e benefícios públicos quanto àqueles destinados a segmentos prioritários.
“Registramos importante crescimento de aplicações em setores como infraestrutura, o microcrédito e a agricultura familiar, todos, em suas perspectivas, de grande impacto na geração de benefícios econômicos e sociais, revelando a atuação do Banco do Nordeste em prol do desenvolvimento do Maranhão”, assegurou.
Nos últimos doze meses, o BNB aplicou cerca de R＄ 2 bilhões com o microcrédito produtivo do Maranhão, tanto urbano quanto rural. Já para o setor de infraestrutura, com projetos estruturantes para a população maranhense, foram destinados R＄ 660 milhões em 2023.
O Banco do Nordeste atende todos os 217 municípios maranhenses, com a manutenção de 29 agências bancárias, além de 46 unidades do Crediamigo e 23 unidades do Agroamigo.
Encontro com a Imprensa – Os resultados de aplicações do Banco do Nordeste foram anunciados durante Encontro com a Imprensa, realizado pela instituição financeira nesta terça-feira, 6.
